Winning Solves Everything

With the hiring of Bobby Petrino as the head coach of Louisville, we learn once again how much winning is valued more than anything today.  There is no doubt that Petrino is a good coach and will win ball games at Louisville like he did in his first stint.  But if I am a Louisville fan or a recruit can I really trust him?  This is a coach who tries multiple times during his tenure to leave.  He once interviewed with Auburn while they still had a coach. After six months into a ludicrous ten year contract, Petrino finally bolted and the Cardinals are just now returning to prominence on the national stage.  Plus the way he has left the Falcons and Arkansas are huge question marks as well.   Arkansas is in a terrible state right now after the motorcycle incident that took the Razorbacks from a championship contender to a bottom dweller of the sec.  Despite all of this though Louisville went this direction proving that winning leads to forgiveness.
